Accessibility statement

The accessibility of genie's website is intended to make it more available, friendly and convenient to use for populations with special needs, arising among other things from various motor disabilities, cognitive impairments, nearsightedness, blindness or color blindness, hearing impairments as well as a population belonging to the elderly.

The level of accessibility

genie adapts the site and its products to common browsers and mobile phone use, and uses its tests in NVDA type screen readers.
We make sure to comply with the requirements of the regulations on equal rights for people with disabilities, 2013. The regulations at the AA level, and also implement the recommendations of the document WCAG2.0 by an organization W3C, on the WordPress site and within system limitations, as much as possible.

In Hebrew: WCAG 2.0 Guidelines for content accessibility on the Internet. The genie company operates in accordance with the ICT Authority's guidelines for making applications accessible in web browsers.

Repairs and adjustments made

  • The navigation on the site is simple and clear.
  • The site's contents are written in a clear, orderly and hierarchical manner. If necessary, there are explanations alongside the content.
  • The site is optimized for viewing in modern browsers.
  • Adapting the site to display compatible with a variety of screens and resolutions.
  • The website content is written in simple and clear language.
  • All images on the site have an alternative textual explanation (alt).
  • The site allows changing the font size by using the Ctrl key and the mouse wheel.
  • The website does not use a moving or flashing text display.

Exclusions

It is important to note that despite our efforts to make all the pages on the website and our other digital assets accessible, it is possible that parts or capabilities may be discovered that have not been accessed properly or have not yet been accessed.
We are working to improve the accessibility of our digital assets and within them, we routinely make online forms accessible, as part of our commitment to allow the entire population to use them, including people with disabilities.
