Win32/Conficker Worm
The Conficker virus (Win32/Conficker) is a worm-type virus programmed to wreak havoc and steal information and passwords through a keylogger in Microsoft's business networks, thus posing a real threat to the issue of information security in the organization.
Symptoms and methods of identification:
- Violation of Account Lockout Policy
- User accounts are locked in Active Directory
- Domain Controller will respond slowly to user authentication requests
- network load
- It is not possible to surf to different security sites
- Certain services will stop working
