Cloud technology and regulation
Does a cloud used by a certain company also allow the company's customers access to the same information?
What do you do if the information is encrypted and there is no access to backup?
These are the main questions that were at the center of the lecture by Alon Zucker, CEO of SOPHTIX - genie's subsidiary, who raised the issue of attacks on cyber networks, the ways in which organizations deal with hacking threats from home and abroad, the proposed solutions to deal with these scenarios, the regulations of the Privacy Protection Law and the GDPR regulations "After the information is in the cloud, we know whether the information is secure in terms of hacking" - explained Zucker, adding: "In such a situation, we already know how to protect your material in terms of invasion and ensuring privacy. The answer is to preempt the cure for the blow. It has an end and a hack is not a decree. It is possible to handle it and protect the information." Zucker emphasized the institutional recognition of the cyber threat, in that authorities address the issue at a regulatory level that requires every board of directors to address it. On this he said: "Regulation is not done just to protect the public's information, but the companies. Regulations are created and built not only for banks and insurance companies, and this shows the increase in the demand in organizations for something that is necessary for them to have."
See you at the next IT conference. Genie will be there too.
