The IT people need to change direction urgently / de marker
The cloud revolution is shared by businesses and individuals. In the private user market, this is a convenient gadget that does not replace an existing service. The main providers of private clouds are giants such as Microsoft and Google that market cloud computing as part of their service package.
In the business sector, on the other hand, the cloud makes redundant and replaces the server. Along the way, an entire food chain of software and support personnel also changes. The IT work in the cloud is different from the work on the servers and requires different knowledge and even different skills. In the giant companies, the story is quite simple: most of them have their own technical support system (in-house) and they replace server support experts with cloud experts, or retrain them. Self-employed people and small businesses are not affected either, because most of them do not need a server and can enjoy the huge advantages of the cloud without giving up other things.
