Out-of-date messages in Outlook

If there is a need for mail you send to be marked asnot relevant" or it will be deleted after a certain date, you can set this in the Outlook software starting with version 2000. Of course, it is necessary that the receiving party also use such software.

  • In the message writing window, enter the View menu, and the Options option.
  • Tick the "Expires After" option.
  • Clicking on the arrow pointing up will allow you to select a date from the calendar.
  • The time can be changed in the writing line.
  • To finish, click "Close".

If the person uses Microsoft's mail server and Outlook software, the message will be automatically deleted from his box after the expiration date.
